DANA PASQUALE

Walking alongside you at life's most sacred threshold, offering compassionate support for individuals and families navigating serious illness, dying, and grief.

Dana Pasquale, end-of-life doula

About Dana

A presence in the passage

I came to this work through my own encounters with loss;  sitting beside people I loved as they moved toward the end of their lives, feeling the weight of not knowing how to help, and the quiet ache of wishing I had known sooner.

An end of life doula is a non-medical companion who offers presence, guidance, and support to individuals and families navigating the dying process. I am here to help you feel less alone; to hold space, to listen, and to walk beside you with care.

This is sacred work. I approach it with deep reverence for each person's unique journey, and with the belief that dying, when met with compassion and intention, can be profoundly meaningful and a beautiful passage.

How I can help

What I offer

Every journey is different. I meet you where you are, with no agenda, no timeline, and no judgment. Honoring the Platinum Rule*. Here is how I can support you:

Compassionate Presence and Companionship

Simply being there, sitting with you or your loved one in deep respect, with an open heart, offering a calm and steady presence during a time that can feel isolating and overwhelming.

Advance Care Planning

Helping you explore and articulate your wishes, honoring what matters most to you, how you want to be cared for, and what a meaningful end of life looks like for you. Creating a plan that allows loved ones to know they are honoring your preferences.

Emotional Support

Foster a compassionate space to speak freely about fears, grief, love, and the things that are hard to say to family. A place where voices are heard, choices are honored and journeys are respected. Being fully present to listen without judgment, to hold space and offer safety.

Vigil Support

Being present during the final hours and sacred transition, supporting both the dying person and those who love them, holding the space with quiet reassurance, gentleness and care. Gently preserving dignity as life's experience unfolds. Aware that grief begins before life ends; is deeply personal and a reflection of love.

"

Death is not the opposite of life, but a part of it.
